The fragrance is a reinterpretation of “Imperial Bouquet,” the fougère fragrance dominated by citrusy and exotic top notes of lime, lemon and orange blossom, created in 1876 for Queen Victoria to celebrate her coronation as Empress of the Indies. Under the name West Indian Limes, the fragrance was reformulated in 1989 while retaining the class and elegance of the time and remaining to this day the favorite scent of England’s royalty.
