Vanillin in Lavanille can discolor shaving brushes in animal hair. A dedicated brush or synthetic fiber shaving brush is recommended. Some time ago, Barrister and Mann® had the extraordinary good fortune to obtain a sample of the base of the discontinued Mousse de Saxe perfume. Armed only with this small sample and historical records of what went into the original, they decided to recreate the famous design by smell alone. After four months of constant research, formulation, reformulation and refinement, they successfully rebuilt Mousse de Saxe to its original splendor. A soap inspired by some of the greatest men’s fragrances of all time. We mix Mousse de Saxe’s version with lavender, vanilla, cedar and elegant musk to create a dark, leathery, elegant soap unlike anything seen for nearly half a century.
Made with high-quality ingredients to nourish and protect skin, including goat milk, coconut milk, cupuacu butter, kokum butter, shea butter, avocado oil, and castor oil.
